DIY: Baby Food













STEPS

I used 3 pears for this recipe. It made 3, 2oz servings.
   
 1. Start by washing, peeling and chopping the pears. 
Place them in a pan with water and a steamer basket, bring to a boil and steam about 10 minutes.

*You don't have to steam pears, they should blend easily, I steamed them just to ensure they were really soft, since Noah is a fairly new to eating solids*

2. Set pears aside and allow them to cool completely, set aside some of the cooking water to use when blending.

3. Place in blender with a couple tablespoons of the cooking water.

4. Blend til smooth.

5.  Place into storage containers

6. Label and date them. They will last 3 days refrigerated and 30 days in the freezer.

7. Ready for Baby to enjoy : )
