7 Months

 Happy 7 Months my sweet baby!!!

Wow! 7 months came quick! You're such a big boy now. That makes me so happy and a little sad. I'm happy that you're happy, healthy and growing. Watching you reach your milestones has been so exciting... The sad part is, you're growing sooo fast. I know everyone says "enjoy it now", because they grow up fast. I didn't believe it, but oh man is it true! Time is flying by.

These past 7 months have been so wonderful and so special. You're such a good boy. 

I'm so grateful that you've come into my life. You're the best thing that has ever happened to me. I am so lucky to have such a sweet little Baby. I Love you so much.

Hi Noah

This is your Dada, your mom sure is right! The last 7 month have gone by sooo fast and I cant believe how big you've gotten , it seems like just the other day I was rubbing your mama's belly and now you're here and in 5 more months you'll be 1 year old!!!.. I'm happy watching you grow up and play and roll around ...I thank God every day for you; you're my little everything and the greatest blessing God has given me!!

Our Week in Snapshots

Over The Weekend....

Happy Monday! 

We had a nice weekend. Saturday we went to the Fullerton Arboretum. It was our first time there. I don't know why we haven't been there yet, since we live so close by. Well.. It was beautiful and we couldn't have gone on a more perfect day! I see many more outings there in the future.
 After, we went out to lunch and I ate one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had. So Yummy!

 We were so tired once we got home. We got Noah in a bath then off to bed
and we relaxed the rest of the night.

On Sunday it was raining all afternoon and night. We stayed home drank tea, watched a few episodes of Downton Abbey (my new obsession) and tried to stay warm.

It was a very nice weekend. Now we're ready to start the week.

......There's a lot on my to-do list today. Lots of laundry and dishes.

Flashback Friday

5 Months

You have always loved bath time, ever since you were that one month old little Baby.
But oh has bath time changed...
 You are such an active little guy in the tub now! You splash around, turn around, try to grab everything that's within your reach, laugh and smile. It's truly one of my favorite times of the day.

When I look at these two pictures side by side, I can't believe how small you were and how big you are now.
Can you stop growing up so fast, please?

DIY: Baby Food

STEPS

I used 3 pears for this recipe. It made 3, 2oz servings.

   

 1. Start by washing, peeling and chopping the pears. 

Place them in a pan with water and a steamer basket, bring to a boil and steam about 10 minutes.

*You don't have to steam pears, they should blend easily, I steamed them just to ensure they were really soft, since Noah is a fairly new to eating solids*

2. Set pears aside and allow them to cool completely, set aside some of the cooking water to use when blending.

3. Place in blender with a couple tablespoons of the cooking water.

4. Blend til smooth.

5.  Place into storage containers

6. Label and date them. They will last 3 days refrigerated and 30 days in the freezer.

7. Ready for Baby to enjoy : )

Noah, One week old

Oh my Noah, I can't believe you're almost 7 months old!

You're growing up so fast! It's wonderful, but I miss this little newborn sometimes. I look at this picture and remember all the wonderful feelings I was having and how exciting it was bringing you home for the first time.

We had a great week/weekend! We spent some time at the park, went to Grandma's to celebrate her birthday, did some grocery shopping and Noah had a little play date. All in all a good week!
 We had a pretty laid back weekend. It felt soooo good to do nothing... We just lounged around the house all weekend. It was
the perfect end to a great week.
